Is adsense the right choice for you?
By irimia.i | September 1, 2007
Adsense is not some make money overnight scheme , it’s does not take you a lot of money investment, maybe a lot of time if you are really new, but what business doesn’t take you time. Now notice I said business because if you don’t want to treat this like a business then you will never have a shot.
AdSense is great because it links together buyers and sellers. Yes, you have to thank Google for a brilliant idea. They know there are people out there that want to buy stuff and people who want to sell them what they’re interested in. And Google AdSense helps members of the two categories find each other. So what things you should consider before you start your adsense business ?
1. Are you willing to dedicate time to produce content , and not just whatever is on your mind, top quality content that will bring you visitors ?
2. You must be willing to invest money into this after your first check , because no business is going to last without investing time and money . You can invest in a new design, in tracking tools , in traffic . Traffic no matter how you will try to bring it , seo, ppc, banner ads, other payed advertising.
3. Track every little thing you do . If something gets you results, then by all means keep doing it.
4. You don’t want to try and cheat the system ever , even if someday the system is going to cheat you . More on that later.
Now you should a little about pros and cons of Adsense.
Let’s start with the good things first :
AdSense allows webmasters to forget about those worries and concentrate on creating good content for their sites. In fact, the emphasis is now on creating quality content (often associated with the top-paying words) which will bring you many visitors.
It is easily integrated with your website and you don’t need to be a highly skilled webmaster to understand how to insert the code. It can be very easily customized in terms of color, size, position.
You can start and be online by tomorrow if you decide today that adsense is right for you. You just need a hosting account, you take wordpress or whatever cms you want out there , but wordpress is very good , you don’t need to know any html coding, or anything, and there are thousands of themes out there for you to choose.
Now a few things about the CONS of adsense
Well the worst thing it could happen is to have your account closed. It can be closed for a number of reasons : You tried to cheat the system by clicking on your ads , or maybe your competitors are trying to put you out of business. There is another reason why you could get multiple clicks on your ads and that is because the competitor of whoever is advertising on your page,is looking to drive their marketing costs up.
Now the final reason why your account may be closed , is because you really have multiple clicks in your ads, legitimate searches but educated searcher who click more then once because your content is really good and they are genuienly looking for more information. In some markets there really IS so much demand in information that they would click on different ads on different advertisers. But Adsense team won’t understand that no matter how much proof you have. They will ban your account even if the money you earned without frauding them will cost someones life .
They don’t care about that , they don’t look for further proof. SO please be careful what type of niches you put your adsense because some niches will get your account banned because of the high demand in information. The internet users are every day becoming more and more educated , and you can’t stop multiple clicking with any script out there . So there is a risk right here.
But like in any business you will have to choose what type of risk you are willing to take. If you notice multiple clicking on your ads , remove them a day or maybe two, replace them with something else and see if there is multiple clicking there too. But for the most of the times you will find out that the clicks are real users who just want more information , but you will have to find another way to monetize that niche because adsense will ban you without warning and without asking any proof.
So before you try adsense you should choose your market very careful, and if you are willing to put in the effort for a decent website , you will get very nice returns.

4 things you need to become a guru
By irimia.i | August 26, 2007
So you want that brand recognition, where most of the people in your business know about you, they respect your word , and you don’t have to prove them again who you are and why your ideas should be respected. And of course the big reward that you seek after : the big paycheck every month.
Now in order to do that you need to understand a few things.
1. You can’t become a guru overnight !
Don’t listen to all of the “gurus” out there that tell you you are going to make a fortune in just a few days , you will learn the secrets that took them for years to find them , and you will be making a lot of money by doing that , and of course in all their kindness tell you that they had a revelation and give you all their information, and practically compete with them.
Well even if they did all that…. but you won’t find anyone tell you everything they do in their business ever , you will still have to compete with years of Experience behind them ! Even if they hand you a blueprint to print money you still wouldn’t manage to compete with them . When you come out with your “pretty bill” on the market they will still have theirs but much improved if not totally different by the time you figure out how to read the blueprint. And they have more resources to make themselves known . But the good thing is they give you a strategy in the other businesses some of them might work…some not because the markets are just different.
2. You need to be highly focused. If you run to buy every new product that comes out there , from 30 different people, and with different type of information you will get confused and you won’t get anywhere. Same thing if you try 30 types of markets. You can’t make money in all of them at once. Choose your market , choose your type of marketing and go make some money .
3. The third thing you need is perseverance. Now if you failed once you will probably try again since you are attracted by the promise of huge checks that you will receive if you master the skill of seo, ppc, forex, viral marketing, copywriting, affiliate marketing, list building, email marketing, multi level marketing, adsense, product creation, and we can go on and on about the many skills which you need to posses .
So this goes with number 2 . Perseverance and being highly focused will get you fast on the right track. If you failed once don’t give up , try again , and again, and again, but after the first thing failed, try to learn why it failed. What you did wrong. Maybe the market was wrong, maybe you need to learn more about the market.
4. Discipline . All above don’t mean anything if you are not very well organized. You need to set priorities , choose your best skill and focus on that . Do not try to do all the things at once or in the same day. Be sure to put exercise in your daily program. If you stay all day at the computer and won’t take some time off you will work yourself to death. Take a walk, take your dog out, do something to take your mind off the work. You will find out that you come with ideas much faster this way.
All this things will put you on the fast track to success

Resell rights buying guide
By irimia.i | August 20, 2007
Now all the offers have a huge sales letter that tries to convince
you it’s the best decision you will ever make. But before you “buy
them to make a fortune online” you should consider a few things.
1. How knew are they? If they are from 2000 it won’t help you to
sell them and you get a lot of refunds that is if you get lucky and
actually make a sale…and since almost all or actually all resell
rights products come with no refund policy you won’t get your money
back. You will face again frustration and curse this type of
business again and it will take you a step closer to quitting.
2. Do you have actually a plan what to do with them? Do you have any
plans on how you can bring traffic? What will you do with 300$-400$
worth of resell products, all top quality and no traffic at all?
Do you have currently organic traffic? Or maybe you plan to buy some
traffic but that get’s pretty expensive really really fast.I know, I
have done this. You have to be sure you know what you are doing. Now
if you don’t know how to bring organic traffic, how you can create a
successful ppc campaign , how to write to convert a little bit ,
maybe resell rights are not your best investment at this time. Invest
your time and money learning all other and then consider to resell
rights because they are a great source of income.
3. They need to be top quality if you really want to make a killing
with them. Now it doesn’t matter if you have like a ton of traffic
and they are last week created , because you will have to face some
angry customers and problems with you credit card processor since it
will see so many refunds on your account that it may close it.
4. How much do they cost? How expensive your hosting account is
going to be? If you are not going to make any sales and you bought a
10$ account for a year, now you lost another 120 $ without any
profit.
Now you are out of your money, and what you thought is going to be a
“life changing investment” is just a way to cause you frustration and makes you
give up …Until next time you see a one time limited offer .These
aren’t limited because they are so many out that are going to sell it
that you won’t believe. And some people will actually sell it for 5-
10$ since they can’t sell them at full price. They will not sell even
those because who buys a 5$ product and it’s top quality? They loose
the trust of the prospects from the start.
This article is not done to scare you from buying resell products.
They are a great investment if you know what you are doing.
Now I have done that : bought without knowing what I was doing,
without knowing how to get traffic, without knowing nothing actually.
So i don’t wnat you to go through the same mistakes I did.

Making Money with Google Adwords
By irimia.i | April 26, 2007
When talking about the Internet as a legitimate place for trade and commerce, one can’t help but speculate the costs a company runs in advertising campaigns in hopes of building a viable online market.
However, Google, Inc., the company behind the runaway success search engines, outdid itself when it launched its two-fold advertising programs—Google Adwords and Google Adsense. In essence, these two advertising programs allows for both advertisers and websites that host advertisements to make money with usage.
What is Google Adwords?
Google Adwords is the advertising program devised by Google on the basis of a Pay-Per-Click system. Under the Pay-Per-Click (PPC) system, an advertiser only pays for his or her ad placement when a searcher comes upon his or her ad and actually clicks on the link, regardless of sale or purchase. This means that the advertisement virtually runs continuously on various websites at the cost only of the number of people who visit their site! This removes the exorbitant fees other commercial websites would put upon an advertiser when he or she wishes to put up an ad there, even if he or she generates no traffic at all from that ad placement.
How does Google Adwords work?
What advertisers do when signing up for Google Adwords is also designing a textual advertisement of the product or service they are offering. They also submit a list of relevant keywords to the service or product they offer. These advertisements will appear on the right-hand side of a Google page.
However, one may have guessed that the huge volume of businesses under various categories may indeed end up with similar keywords in mind for submission in Google Adwords. In determining which company gets which keywords, Google Adwords devised a bidding system for keywords alongside a content relevancy system.
In the bidding system, advertisers bid and compete for advertisers. Auctioning off keywords usually start at around 5 cents, and it is through this system that various advertisers try to outbid their competition. However, owing to the fact that this may seem as though relevance and advertising placements are completely based on an advertiser buying his or her place, Google Adwords also takes into consideration through an automated computer system the relevance of the content of the website to the keywords submitted to the system.
How does Google Adwords look like after all this work?
The Google ad appears usually on the right-hand side of the page that’s signed up to host various Google Adwords advertisements. The company’s advertisement will appear only when the keywords under which it ad was listed was directly searched for by the web searcher. Again, payment for the advertisement placement only happens once the searcher clicks on the ad.
How can one minimize the costs of the Pay-Per-Click (PPC) system while maximizing profits from sales and purchases?
Google Adwords, unfortunately, is not a no-brainer earning system for a company advertising products or services. It requires a little bit more common sense; after all, it is of interest to minimize still the costs of the Pay-Per-Click system. If searchers keep clicking on ads without these clicks turning into tangible purchases, a company would end up paying more to Google than receiving profits from the traffic brought in to the website.
Simply put, minimizing PPC system costs will only happen if the more serious buyers are the ones clicking the advertisements put up on Google Adwords.
The first step into making this scenario happen is by not being in the top portion of the preferred keywords. While indeed, being on the top three of the most preferred links would generate more clicks than placing lower in the ranks, it would also mean inviting the clicks of a variety of searchers—the interested buyers, the curious searchers, the leisurely searchers not really looking for anything in particular, and the searchers completely clueless about what they are looking for and would keep on just clicking on to find out more.
Obviously, without targeting the people clicking on the advertisements, the PPC system costs will add up, without necessarily meaning purchases.
However, by being in the latter portion of the list, there is a greater propensity that the traffic being generated comprises those searchers who are seriously seeking to purchase a product or service. Even being on the second page of the search page may not be a bad thing; after all, these are the search pages found only by those who are seriously out to buy a product, and are those accessed by usually the more informed and intelligent buyers.
Moreover, sales will be greatly maximized by increasing relevance of content in the website and keeping all the links alive. By having more relevant and targeted content, a company avoids having its advertisements being clicked by people who get confused as to what the advertisement really is for. Live links keep assuring relevant traffic flows into the site, and even the continued featuring of the advertisement on other pages.
At the end of the day, Google Adwords is a viable tool in order to increase traffic to one’s e-business if used in the most efficient way possible. By minimizing irrelevant clicks and instead targeting those who are truly looking to purchase a product or service, a company can best assure the profits they collect would be much greater than the costs they have to pay for each click on their Google Ad.

Internet Traffic Generation through Google Adwords
By irimia.i | April 23, 2007
Marketing is one of the essentials of success in the field of business. Marketing is a dynamic field which involves using media to be able to get a promotional message across a target audience. The Internet has become a major tool in terms of marketing products and services.
There are many ways to market using the Internet such as email marketing and putting up affiliate programs. Different methods imply different results and conditions. The Google Adsense hype is one of the most popular and most effective ways to market through the Internet nowadays. Google, with its formidable array of services, has taken Internet marketing into a whole new level.
Google is one a key player in the field of search engines. It dominates the market and generates 75% of the Internet’s search traffic. With this kind of power at hand, it has been able to develop a new system which aims to promote Internet marketing as a whole.
What is Google Adwords?
The Google Adwords system displays advertisements from different participants whenever a keyword or a key phrase is searched through the Google search engine. The participants places their bids on the different keywords and the highest bidders will be displayed on the right-hand corner of the Internet browser. The highest bidders can also be featured in Google’s affiliates such as AOL and netscape.
This system provides optimum results for the price paid for the bid. The bidders are only charged for every click that is generated for their sites by Google. The participants also control their daily budget so as to avoid overspending. When the budget is exhausted for the day because the clicks which were generated exceeded the budget limit, the advertisement is automatically shut down by the system. This is indeed a very cost effective way of doing Internet marketing.
Traffic and Marketing
In the world of Internet marketing, generating site traffic is the key component to success. Websites are built to be viewed and perform such other functions such as to provide means of ordering a certain product or service.
Google Adwords provides a new way of generating traffic to one’s website. By strategic bidding and careful designing of the advertisements, one can get closer to generating sales and income.
The Google Adwords advertisements are generally very short and concise. This is a good way of putting different advertisements on a single search page even though it poses a challenge to the different advertisers.
The advertisements are composed of two things: a title line and a body. The title line should contain a maximum of 25 characters and the body should have less than 2 lines containing 35 characters each. The real challenge is packaging the marketing message in a way that it a) attracts the attention of the targeted audience and b) entices them enough to click the link to the webpage.
Title
Title lines are very important. Many movies have been successful because they generated curiosity because of their titles. This is true for advertisements to be used in Google Adwords. They should be concise and attractive. They should never be misleading so as to avoid future problems.
Body
The body of the advertisement is the heart and soul of the statement. Basic information which is useful for the target audience should be placed in the body to give a general guide on what the site contains.
Keywords
To be able to generate traffic, one must be able to determine the right keywords and key phrases which should be employed. The Google Adwords system asks the participants what keywords they would like to bid on. Bidding on the wrong keywords will only lead to a waste of time and money.
There are different resources out there such as “overture” which help in the assessment of target phrases. They show the different keywords and corresponding hits through search engines. This information is very important in developing a strategy in the Google Adwords system.
Combination
One should be able to determine the right keyword or the right key phrases to be able to optimize the traffic that is to be generated. The keywords should be specific to the product and should reflect its features. Using the words “free,” “cheap,” “discount” can be helpful if they are applicable to the product.
The Google Adwords system is a great way to generate traffic. However, one must study the system before putting serious amounts of money into it. It is a pricing game and no one would want to lose a lot of money for marketing efforts which are not suitable to their endeavors.

The Pros And Cons In Establishing An Ebay Store
By irimia.i | April 14, 2007
Ebay has provided some amazing opportunities for many people to earn online. This widely popular auction site has become the primary destination for users who wish to purchase anything – ranging from tangible products to digital items – hence making eBay a website visited by millions of people every day. Because of the volume of transactions happening in its pages, eBay has also become a virtual market place where thousands, if not millions, of dollars exchange hands on a daily basis as well.
Do you want a piece of that big, big pie?
Then you must first have to establish an ebay store.
Now, this is not a strong recommendation. This article is not meant as a sales pitch for a membership with eBay, rather, it seeks to present the advantages and disadvantages of building your own eBay store. You must remember that eBay isn’t the only place where you could peddle your goods. It is a good place where you could sell your items, but there are other alternatives you could consider. Should you settle with eBay? Or should you explore the alternative options? Let’s study the matter more closely.
There are most certainly a lot of benefits that could be gained from establishing your own eBay store. Let’s take a look at them.
* You’d be able to sell in a hotly visited environment. You’ll be able to expose your products to a wide array of prospects.
* Once you have upgraded to a Featured Store, you’d be given $30 worth of PPC keywords per month. This means that your store would appear prominently in the results for the particular keywords that users will search for. Such would most certainly drive more traffic to your auctions.
* A Featured Store would also deliver some advanced reports for your auctions. You could use the statistics delineated therein to improve the way you construct your sales pages, and the way you present your items for better efficiency in your future offers.
* A Featured Store will also allow you more eBay pages, which would mean more exposure for your products. It’s still a numbers game. The more auctions you have running, the more earning opportunities you could capitalize on.
* A Featured Store would allow you to reduce the size of the eBay banner appearing in your every auction. This would give you the chance to work on your page and bring the focus of your visitors to the items you will be selling.
* Ebay provides a certain level of seller protection and dispute resolution for potential problems you might encounter with your buyers.
Though these are great advantages for your online business, please bear in mind that they do not come without cost. There are also other disadvantages that are attached to having your own eBay store.
* Ebay stores don’t come free. A basic store setup would cost $15.95 per month. A Featured Store status would cost an even higher $49.95 per month. And the king of all kings, an Anchor Store, would require you to spend an onerous $499.95 per month.
* Having your own eBay store would pressure you to perform well when it comes to your sales. Though some may consider this as a benefit since such will motivate the seller to plan his course of action, the dangers will be experienced when you fail to earn enough profit to cover the cost of your subscription.
* People go to eBay expecting the best deals in the online market. You have to compete at this level, otherwise, the moment people would see the going rate for your auction, they’d immediately hop to the next item up for sale.
* You’d be bound by eBay’s selling policies. You cannot go around some of these restrictive policies, otherwise, you account can get suspended, or worse, terminated.
Establishing an eBay store is a solid choice for a business model. But you have to determine your goals as well as your marketing plan. Would an eBay store help you accomplish them? Or would selling your own goods in your own website, or through some affiliate automation program like www.clickbank.com , www.paydotcom.com or www.cj.com be better for your online business?
The choice is yours.

How to Avoid Failure on Your eBay Auctions
By irimia.i | April 12, 2007
Many first time sellers have one thing in common –
they fail. Many of them fail time and time again,
never understanding what is going wrong. They do
hours of research looking for the perfect item to sell,
get the auction set up, and wait for the bidding to
begin. Hours go by and no bids are placed. Days go
by, and there are still no bids – or there are very low
bids. Finally the auction ends, and it turns out to be
a total failure. Considering the huge number of sellers
who run eBay auctions, there are specific things you
must do, and specific things you must not do if you
are to be successful.
There are many reasons why auctions fail. The most
common reason is that the item is not in high
demand. This problem can be avoided by doing the
necessary research to determine which items sell
well, and which items should be avoided. This
research takes a great deal of time – but in the end,
you will find that it is time well spent.
Another reason for eBay failure is pricing. No matter
what your reserve price is, your opening bid price
should never be more than $50 or so. This is how you
will attract potential bidders to your auction. If you
set that opening bid too high, most people won’t
even click the link to read the description for your
item. Another pricing problem is lack of research.
Before you set your reserve price, you must
determine what the item is really worth, and the price
similar items have sold for in past eBay auctions.
Poorly written descriptions are another cause of
failed auctions. Poor grammar and misspelled words
drive people away. Failing to post a picture of the
item will also keep people from visiting your auction
page. Make sure that your description is well written.
This is essentially your ‘sales copy.’
Shipping prices scare people away from auctions if
they are too high. Find the lowest shipping prices
that you can find, and consider paying for the
shipping yourself if it won’t cut into your profits too
much. Do not charge handling fees.
Offer great ‘customer service’ for all of your auctions,
and ask your buyers to give you feedback. If the
items that you sell are everything that you said they
would be, and you offer great customer service, you
can expect wonderful feedback – and this
feedback will help a great deal in your future auctions.

Do-it-yourself SEO Techniques
By irimia.i | April 10, 2007
A company mostly relies on its official web site to build a reliable customer base, to interact and get feedback from customers, and to use the site for advertising purposes.
With search engine optimization, some techniques are employed so that a web site will be listed on top of the list of results when a user types in a keyword by going to Google, Yahoo, MSN, or other search engines.
Emerging on top of a search list would lead more business your way that is why search engine optimization or SEO tactics are employed.
Some companies employ the services of establishments or individuals who deal with search engine optimization.
This would involve the development of a more informative and user-friendly web site. It may also include pay-per-click or adwords services, such as the one offered by Google.
Another thing that can yield positive results at a lower cost, as compared to an adword campaign, is optimizing a web site for organic search.
This would mainly require keyword density which would result to more traffic going to your web site.
In effect, you will have an added clientele and this should lead more business your way.
If you would like to have a hands-on experience with search engine optimization and you would not like to get a third-party SEO service provider, there are some techniques which are easy to learn so that you can do it yourself. Take a look at the following:
1. Take a lot of time with developing your web site’s content.
For most web sites, content is the key. When writing the content of your web pages, insert vital keywords which relate to the products and services that your company offers.
Make it brief and concise, yet informative.
You might see that Internet users do not actually read a web site’s content word-for-word.
They just skim through the text and concentrate on the articles that they need and the data which they find interesting. A 600-word article may be too boring or too long for a user to read.
Keep your facts up-to-date so that users will visit your web site more often. Do not forget toinclude a lot of helpful links, articles and guides that users can forward to another user and add to your customer base.
2. Make the overall design user friendly.
In most cases, the rule the simpler, the better applies. Do not design your web site in an overly-complicated way that users will find it too “frightening” to browse through.
Adapt the design to your target market. If your target audience is of a younger age, make sure that the colors and designs are funky, youthful and attention-grabbing.
For a more mature audience, you can use subdued colors and have a more elegant theme and overall web site design.
3. Vary the keyword for each individual web page.
Think of every possible keywords or phrases that will apply to your products and services.
Each user is different and may not necessarily use the keyword that you expect them to type in the search bar. Search engines offer tools which will guide you through finding the correct keywords for search engine optimization.
4. Make sure that your hyper links are visible, accessible and informative.
Providing users with hyperlinks or HTML links which are useful and easy to find is yet another way to optimize your web site.
5. Learn how to lead traffic to your site.
Seek the advise of experts on this field if you do not know how to lead traffic to your site. Develop a plan and learn how to use the necessary tools pull traffic your way.
Gather all the statistical data that you can use to keep your web site on top of the search engines’ list.
Vary your web site’s contents and keywords to adapt to the current trend. If there is a particular word or phrase that you have not used when searching for keywords, use it instead to lead more traffic your way.
Be flexible enough to change the web site’s contents and fulfill the ever-changing needs of the online users.
All in all, you would have your work cut out for you if you want to employ do-it-yourself search engine optimization techniques.
With the proper research, creativity and enough knowledge, you can definitely optimize your web site and yield very promising results for your business.
